HKDA series chemical dryer

Our HKDA series unheated type chemical dryers have a stable dew point of -40 °C (-70 °C optional). These dryers are suitable for applications requiring clean and very dry compressed air. Along with dryers, you should also use inlet and outlet filters. Because in this way you will be sure that the compressed air is clean and the moisture trap inside the product will be protected.

Thanks to the reliable electronic controller on the product, flawless operation of the product is guaranteed. HKDA unheated chemical dryers are equipped with special valves and high quality dryers. In addition to these features, these products are the lowest pressure drop chemical dryers on the market.

Work priciple

These double tank products continuously separate water from compressed air due to high hygroscopic impact resistance and large surface area/mass moisture holding capacity. The drying process is carried out by regenerating one of the tanks by passing 18% of the dried air through an orifice to the other tank while drying the compressed air. No heater is used during its regeneration. A tank with a moisture-saturated humidifier is dried with the help of super dry air at atmospheric pressure. The air release rate of the silencers (according to the desired dew point) can be adjusted according to the operating condition of the dryer.

The super dry air enters the tank filled with wet desiccant from the opposite direction, thus separating the water previously stored in the desiccant. HHKDA dryers equalize the pressure before changing the tank. This prevents line pressure fluctuations and dryer wear. A rehydratable tank is re-pressurized before rehydrating. The flow direction is from top to bottom in the tank when the silencers release the moisture and the pressure is restored, and the air direction during drying is in the opposite direction.
